This is the best grill cleaner I have ever used. Get the grill hot dip bbq daddy in water and it cleans everything. I read the reviews about it breaking and not cleaning. I think they are using it wrong. I am 63 yo female with RA. I have no strength it doesn’t need to be pushed hard. The steam is doing the work. Follow the instructions..

The thing works, no question about it. My grill grates look great afterwards. My issue is durability. The scrub pad lasts 5 or 6 cleans then completely falls apart.

I purchased this from Home Depot recently and was excited to use it. Unfortunately I was only able to get two solid scrubs on the grill before the scrubber part separated from from its yellow attachment. It is held in place by these metal teeth that is screwed into a yellow plastic bit that allows you to remove the scrubber assembly all in one go. I tried reattaching the scrubber to those metal teeth, but it kept slipping out. So, sad to say this product was a dud to me.

I am very disappointed to have to give this review. After shark tank my wife loved this companies products so after she said honey you need to try this for you, your dad and brother. We are huge in grilling/more smoking than grilling. My father loved his my brother and mine however both fell apart on our first and second use. I wanted to like the product as much as my wife but I gave 2 stars because my father loved his.

My grill is new and this tool is my favorite! I use it before and after each use. The steam sanitizes the grill plates with ease! Clean up is a breeze because I can do it immediately after I take the food off the grill. No having to remember to go back out there to clean it once it is cool. I use it before I cook so that any residue or germs are steamed off before eating. I put the sponge in the top rack of the dishwasher and it looks great. It is very bulky. It doesn’t have a good way to hang on my grill hooks. I have not used the scraper part yet.

I was so excited to get this at Home Depot after deep cleaning our grill and smoker. It worked great the first time but on only the second use the cover of the scrubber head ripped exposing the foam underneath. I was expecting it to be a lot tougher considering the reputation of scrub daddy and how much we love the other products.

I bought this at a Home Depot and thought this would be a good solution to clean my grill grates. After TWO USES the grill sponge is already breaking down and small bits of metal are going all over the place! I followed the instructions and submerged it in cold water yet still it isn’t cutting it! I wish I never bought this product!

This has been working great to clean my smoker after each use. After 2 times running it in the dishwasher, the screw heads at the top are super rusted now. Definitely need a treated screw there if it is advertised as dishwasher safe. Other than that, works as advertised!

I really want to love this grill brush. The first time I was hooked with the performance of cleaning but the 2nd time I used the brush, the head fell apart. At $10 for the replacement head this is costly to keep spending money every month if I have to replace it every couple of weeks.

I LOVE scrub daddy Scrubbers so when I found a grill brush I was excited. I purchased it at Lowes. First pass it took all the char off. Second pass the scrubber came right off. Very disappointed, especially for the price point.

I bought the bbq daddy from Lowes, but the brush broke the first time that I used it. It was working great for the first few minutes, but assuming that particular brush was not defective, it does not hold up to scrubbing pressure.

I got a bbq daddy about 6 months ago to use with my new stainless steel grill. I loved that it did not have bristles and did a good job cleaning my grill. Especially when soak with water to create that steamed clean.
I use my grill every 2 to 3 weeks, so not overly used, yet.
Last week the pad cover tore and became completely useless.
Very disappointing.
I contemplated giving a one star and decided to up it to 2 as I really like this product, until now.

I’ve used mine 5 or 6 times now. I get it wet like the directions say before every use. It works great on my pellet smoker. Cleans the grates really well. I haven’t scene any issues with the replaceable pad breaking down. Even if it does it’s replaceable duh.

It is amazing how well it cleans the grill but after 3 uses I am noticing little pieces of metal left behind to the point that I feel like I need to clean the grill with another brush after each use before any food goes on.
We love the scrub daddy products but this isn’t it unfortunately.

I love the idea/concept of this brush, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired… the brush separated from the yellow plastic thing that holds it in with metal teeth during the FIRST use of the brush. I wasn’t brushing that hard; this just seems very frail. I see other complains about this in the product reviews as well (which I wish I had read BEFORE I bought the brush) — are there any head design changes on the horizon to fix a clear design/product issue?
